為協助申請人提前與指導教授溝通，本計畫率先公開博士候選人類別指導教授推薦函之填寫項目，供申請人參考準備：

基本資料
・指導教授姓名、職稱、任職學校及系所、電子郵件
・申請人英文姓名、就讀學校及系所、博士論文名稱

推薦函填寫項目
1. 申請人是否已取得博士候選人資格？
2. 對學生研究潛力之評估
3. 對學生所提博士論文計畫內容之評述
4. 博士論文指導方式
5. 博士論文進度

The Taiwanese Overseas Pioneers Grants Program (TOP Grants) will soon open its 2025 call for applications. Eligible doctoral candidates and young scholars in the humanities and social sciences are encouraged to monitor this website for the official announcement.

▌Advance Preview: Supervisor Recommendation Letter (Doctoral Candidate Category)

To allow applicants sufficient time to coordinate with their supervisors, we are releasing in advance the key items included in the supervisor recommendation letter for the doctoral candidate category:

Basic Information
· Supervisor's full name, title, university/department, and email
· Applicant's English full name, university/department, and dissertation title

Recommendation Items
1. Whether the applicant has qualified as a PhD candidate
2. Assessment of the applicant's research potential
3. Comments on the applicant's doctoral research proposal
4. Description of supervision plans
5. PhD dissertation progress
